3D Artist

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and imaginative 3D Artist to join our creative team. As an 3D Artist, you will be responsible for bringing characters, stories, and concepts to life through the art of animation. The ideal candidate possesses a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in various animation techniques, a creative mindset, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team to create visually stunning and compelling animations.

Responsibilities:

1. Character Animation:
   • Create expressive and dynamic character animations that convey emotions and personality.
   • Develop character movement, gestures, and interactions to enhance storytelling.
2. Storyboarding and Visualization:
   • Collaborate with the creative team to visualize and storyboard animation sequences.
   • Translate storyboards into fluid and engaging animated sequences.
3. 3D Animation (if applicable):
   • Utilize 3D animation software to create lifelike and visually appealing animations.
   • Ensure seamless integration of 3D elements into animation projects.
4. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with writers, directors, and other team members to understand project requirements and contribute creative insights.
   • Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine animations.
5. Quality Control:
   • Ensure the consistency and quality of animations throughout the production process.
   • Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to animation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Media Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Animator with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse animation styles.
• Proficiency in animation software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, Unreal Engine 5, Keyshot, Marmoset Toolbag or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and storytelling.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and explain animation decisions.
