2D Animator

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and imaginative 2D Animator to join our creative team. As a 2D Animator, you will be responsible for bringing concepts and characters to life through the art of animation. The ideal candidate possesses a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in 2D animation techniques, a creative mindset, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to create visually compelling and engaging animations.

Responsibilities:

1. Animation Creation:
   • Design and create expressive and dynamic 2D character animations that convey emotions and enhance storytelling.
   • Develop fluid and visually appealing animations for various multimedia projects.
2. Storyboarding and Visualization:
   • Collaborate with directors and other team members to understand project goals and review storyboards.
   • Translate storyboards into engaging and visually appealing 2D animated sequences.
3. Software Proficiency:
   • Utilize industry-standard 2D animation software, such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or equivalent, to create high-quality animations.
   • Stay updated on the latest 2D animation techniques and tools.
4. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with graphic designers, illustrators, and other team members to ensure cohesive integration of 2D animations into projects.
   • Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and enhance animations.
5. Quality Control:
   • Ensure the consistency and quality of 2D animations across different platforms and projects.
   • Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to 2D animation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Media Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a 2D Animator with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse animation styles.
• Proficiency in 2D animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and storytelling.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and explain animation decisions.
